FUN RUNNERS GRIN AND BEAR IT FOR SSE!

PHOTOCALL NOTICE
ISSUED BY STOP STANSTED EXPANSION
For 10am, Bank Holiday Monday 30 May 2005, St Mary's Churchyard, Hatfield Broad Oak

A crack team of Stop Stansted Expansion wannabe athletes will be donning campaign t-shirts and running shoes to take part in the annual 10km Hatfield Broad Oak Fun Run.

The intrepid team members have trained long and hard for this event, often suffering considerable pain in the process since it's the first Fun Run most of them have ever entered - all to raise money for the SSE fighting fund.

Amongst the 21-strong team are SSE stalwarts Sarah Cousins (Broxted), Malcolm Willis (Farnham), Ian Prince (Great Easton), Fiona Halls (Saffron Walden), Paul Chater (Henham), Laurence Weeks (Ilford), Ken McDonald (Stansted), Jane Manley (Saffron Walden) and (fresh from the London Marathon), SSE campaign office manager Ian Hobson (Stansted).

Details of the final sum raised will be available following the race from Carol Barbone (contact details below).

WHEN/WHERE

10am on Bank Holiday Monday 30 May 2005. The team will pose by the Stop Stansted Expansion exhibition trailer in the grounds of St Mary's Church, Hatfield Broad Oak which is on the B183 Takeley - Hatfield Heath Road (midway through the village on the right if travelling from Takeley). The Fun Run itself begins at 11am with around 1200 runners expected in total, running in support of various causes.
