I think that the road between Stansted and Thaxted and from Thaxted to Dunmow passes through some of the most beautiful local countryside. The changes in height, while not dramatic, are enough to notice. The many old buildings blend in with the rolling landscape in a way that modern ones never will. Remember, this is good land of the kind that has made England rich for centuries. Please don't destroy my bus ride - Darling.
