 HELP SELL SSE'S COMMUNITY CALENDAR AND CHRISTMAS CARDS |
The five Community Calendars and four Christmas cards produced since Stop Stansted Expansion was launched have been sold to many thousands of people, raising substantial funds for the campaign and reinforcing its message to the wider community.
Most are sold door-to-door between October and December by a team of volunteers, backed up by around 35 shops who take no profit. Doorstep contact encourages discussion of the latest issues and helps to reassure people that SSE is actively working for their future wellbeing.
We are keen to add to the door-to-door sales team. We need people who are willing to give up a few hours or a few days, depending on the time they can commit to this important element of the campaign to stop Stansted expansion.
Most of the established sales team had never sold anything before, so don't be afraid to give it a try. All newcomers are given some training and old hands are happy to go out with new recruits.
